After I left Red Bluff, I visited the Sundial Bridge in Redding:
Heading north now. The state park stickers, campground passes, and brand-new parking placard on my dash read like a brief history of this summer.
Out in the Coast Range
I spent last night camped at Grizzly Redwoods, listed on the map as a state park but now purchased and run by Humboldt County in the wake of California’s budget issues. I’m high up in the Coast Range now, spending the weekend in the mountains while I work on letters for my Kickstarter project. Here are a few photos from this morning’s short hike near the Van Duzen river and also tonight’s camp.
